Job
Description :
·
Performing the majority of the audit of retail investment, pension
and hedge funds.
·
Conversion of UK financial statements into the iXBRL language
using a tagging tool.
·
Preparation of summary lead sheets from underlying accounting
records, roll forward of prior year figures.
·
Perform vouching and verification procedures and agreeing
accounting records to source documentation/ third party confirmation.
·
Reviewing the board/other committee minutes and summarizing key
findings.
·
Utilize advanced data analysis and statistical tools to extract
accounting records for verification.
·
Prepare and send confirmation of balances as part of audit
procedures and work on reconciliations of balances and agreeing to supporting
documentation.
·
Working as a virtual member of a Audit team in breadth of sectors
and industries that KPMG provides services in.
·
Involved in audit of different areas for manufacturing, retail,
IT, automotive, fashion, banking and insurance clients.
·
Reviewing financial statements of companies for compliance with
legislative and accounting standards, mathematical accuracy and consistency.
·
Preparation of graphical analysis for business critical KPIs and
link in business understanding gained in various analytical procedures such as
depreciation, payroll, interest etc.
Desired
Candidate Profile :
·
Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an
added advantage.
·
Book-keeping experience would be beneficial but not essential.
·
Intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
·
Bachelors Degree in Commerce (Hons) / Degree or Diploma in Finance
or Accounting.
·
Language skills: English.
